Here’s an interesting project that was recently completed. The client wanted to have calendar functionality built into their web-page, and my idea was to combine that functionality with Google’s Calendar API. Combing through and learning the unique functions of Google’s Calendar structure and how to translate that over to a CSS styled site was quite the learning experience.

Thus, the client is able to use the Google Calendar interface, which is able to be updated both through the web portal as well as through standard email clients like Thunderbird and Outlook in real time. Quite a convenience, since we were able to bypass the installation of MySQL and use javascript to display the relevant info.
